The stage where Chen Taijiquan (陳式太極拳 – Chén Shì Tàijíquán) begins to express its true power. The practitioner refines Chan Si Gong (纏絲功) and develops controlled Fa Jing (發勁), transforming internal rotation into precise and explosive force. Training includes Chen 13 Form (陈氏13式太极拳) to sharpen structure, timing, and compact expression, and Chen 49 Sword (单剑) to extend intent (意 – Yì) through the weapon ⚔️ Push Hands (推手 – Tuī Shǒu) evolves into moving step, vertical, and horizontal methods, developing sticking, connecting, and following (黏連隨 – Nián Lián Suí). The practitioner begins to apply the Eight Gates (太极八法) through Peng Jing (掤勁) as a living force. Internal cultivation is strengthened through 18 Qi Gong (太極氣功十八式) and Dao Yin Bao Jian Gong (導引保健功), supporting breath, circulation, and recovery 💨 At this level, the body must express elastic power (彈勁 – Tán Jìn). Movement is driven by spirals (螺旋勁), where opening and closing (開合 – Kāi Hé) create stored energy that releases without tension ⚡ The Three Dantians (三丹田 – Sān Dāntián) act in full coordination: Lower Dantian drives and anchors 🌱 Middle Dantian regulates rhythm 💨 Upper Dantian directs intent 🧠 Through proper pelvic integration (天圓 – Tiānyuán), the body remains connected, allowing Qi to sink (氣沉丹田) and power to travel through the entire structure 🔗 Purpose of the Training To refine silk reeling into functional power and express Fa Jing with precision. The practitioner learns to: Develop explosive force from relaxation Coordinate upper and lower body (上下相隨) Apply sticking and following in motion Understand rhythm and timing in Chen Taiji At this stage, connection is established before expression. Key Benefits Controlled Fa Jing (發勁) and elastic power (彈勁) ⚡ Advanced coordination and timing Improved sensitivity and adaptability Stronger structural connection Efficient energy release without tension
