STRUCTURE, BREATH, AND THE AWAKENING OF FLOW 結構與呼吸之道,內修之進 In this level, disciples deepen their understanding of Yang Style Taijiquan through the refinement of structure and the regulation of breath. Having entered the gate, the practitioner now learns how to connect posture, intention, and respiration into one continuous process. This stage marks the transition from external imitation to internal coordination. The body is trained to move as a single unit, guided by the Dan Tian (丹田), while the breath becomes the bridge between stillness and motion. Through disciplined repetition, students begin to understand that true movement does not arise from isolated limbs, but from unified internal organization. Yang Tai Chi at this stage reveals its method: softness guided by structure, and structure sustained by breath. This level develops the internal framework required for all higher practice. ✔️ Structure and Breath Integration 結構與呼吸 Understanding the relationship between posture and breathing Learning how breath leads and supports movement Coordinating inhalation and exhalation without force ✔️ Dan Tian Awareness 丹田運用 Understanding the role of the Dan Tian in movement and balance Introduction to Qi Chen Dan Tian (氣沉丹田) Learning to stabilize and center the body through internal focus ✔️ Open Hand Forms 太極拳架 Practice of Yang Style 40 form (楊式太極拳) Refining continuity, transitions, and flow Developing smooth, uninterrupted movement ✔️ Tai Chi Fan Fundamentals 太極扇法 Introduction to Yang Style 18 Fan form (楊式18勢太極扇) Understanding coordination between body and weapon Learning basic principles of Tai Chi weapon practice ✔️ Qi Gong Development 氣功修養 Practice of Ba Duan Jin (八段錦) Developing flexibility, circulation, and internal awareness Supporting health and structural alignment through movement ✔️ Internal Principles 內在原則 Introduction to Silk Reeling Energy (纏絲勁) Understanding Opening and Closing (開合) Learning the Five Directions (五方步) in movement
